Inspired by the call to make known God's goodness, the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur established the Notre Dame Education Center. The Center exists to promote a quality of life through education.
Our mission is embodied in our relationship with:
The Notre Dame Education Center opened in 1996. It is sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, who in 1859 began their educational tradition of working with poor women and children in Lawrence.
Collaboration with community agencies facilitates improved opportunities and services for the immigrant population.
As a community of learners, we generate a spirit of welcome and respect for the life and dignity of one another.
Adult literacy and the development of self-esteem provide students with the life skills that support family growth, employment opportunities, and community participation.
